Historic Theater
EXCLUSIVE: A National Landmark built in 1918, the Million Dollar Theater was the first venue operated by legendary showman Sid Grauman before he opened the Egyptian and Chinese Theaters. With its ornate Spanish Baroque architecture, grand auditorium, and gilded lobby, the theater provides an authentic period backdrop for film, TV, and commercial productions. The space includes a historic stage, period ticket booths, and projection room, while the turn-of-the-century tunnels and an abandoned speakeasy add unique, atmospheric settings. Two period apartment towers with vintage lobbies, staircases, and apartment units, along with a contemporary barbershop and retail spaces, provide additional filming opportunities. Easy street-level load-in/out ensures seamless production access, with multiple surrounding surface lots ideal for base camps and production support.
